I remember the day like it was yesterday – I was at the mall with my then-boyfriend, and he asked me if I wanted something to eat.
I said yes, but he said he was out of money. I was frustrated and embarrassed, but at the same time, I knew that I had to move on.
That was the day that I realized that getting a boyfriend was a lot like getting a “free buffet” at all restaurants. As long as I had a boyfriend, I could always get something to eat without having to worry about paying for it myself!
Now, I know what you’re thinking – some might say I am shallow. And I admit that I am. But I am also reaping all the benefits of making men pay for me.
For starters, I don’t have to worry about having enough money for food every day. I always have someone else paying for me, so I don’t have to worry about whether or not I can afford my meals. My current boyfriend always takes care of me when it comes to meals, and I never have to worry about being left with nothing to eat.
Another benefit of having a man take care of me is that I don’t have to worry about what I am eating. I can always trust that my boyfriend will make sure I am eating something healthy and nutritious. Plus, I get to enjoy different cuisines and foods, which I would never be able to do if I had to pay for them myself.
Finally, having a boyfriend also means that I get to enjoy the company of someone else when I am eating. I don’t have to eat alone and I get to share conversations and laughter with my boyfriend while we enjoy our meals. It’s a great way to bond and strengthen our relationship.
So, yes, I admit that I am shallow for wanting someone to pay for my meals. But I also think that it’s a great way to enjoy food and build relationships. I no longer have to worry about not having enough money for food and I get to enjoy different cuisines and meals, all while having someone to share them with.
