A girl alleged that she was sexually assaulted by a tattoo artist last year.
She shared that she first met him on 17 July last year because she was looking to get a tattoo, and it was her first time getting one and she didn’t know anything about the matter.
She then set an appointment with the guy, named Matthew.
As she was getting tatted by him, he asked her out for drinks, saying that he knew of a good bar.
The girl said no as she was with her sister, but the guy kept persuading her, saying that they would be talking about “tattoos and stuff”, until she relented and agreed.
Matthew then brought her over to a bar at orchard towers, where he ordered a bottle of liquor and assured her that he would be drinking most of it.
But throughout the night, he kept pouring more for her even when she told him that he couldn’t drink anymore as she can’t hold her liquor.
After drinking, she wanted to go home but he kept persuading her to go to his house, which she agreed to as she was “high” (very intoxicated).
She told him she would just “crash” at his place.
When she went into his room, she blacked out.
But she remembered that he asked her if she was feeling hot and offered her a shirt to change into.
As she was changing, he took off her clothes and ripped her underwear and started touching her.
She was pushing him away, saying no, before he backed off and got her a shirt.
The guy then kept asking her to have sex with him, before he took off his pants and laid beside her on the bed, pulling her towards him and grinding on her.
She wrote that she was scared and tried to muster up her courage and shouted at him to stop, pushing him away.
Matthew then shouted at her to sit down with him, to which she did so as she was scared.
He then told her that he stopped touching her, telling her not to call the police because he had already stopped his actions.
She then left the unit.
Unconsented usage of tattoo photo
On a separate occasion, the OP requested for Matthew to remove a photo of her friend’s tattoo from his Instagram profile, which he declined.
She told him that he doesn’t have the right to post the photo on his page, to which he replid that he did the tattoo and the girl allowed him to take a photo of it, therefore he is “fully within his rights to post it”.
She alleged that right after she told him to remove the photo, he posted the post onto his Instagram Stories to “rub salt in the wound”, taunting her.
