For the first year of our relationship, things were going great. We had a lot of fun together and we were always laughing and joking. We had a great time and I thought that I had finally found the one.
However, over the past year or so, things have changed. My boyfriend has become distant and uninterested in spending time with me. He barely talks to me and it seems like he doesn’t care about me anymore.
He’s always either out with his friends, at work or playing games which leaves me feeling lonely and neglected. I’ve tried talking to him about it, but he just shrugs it off and says he’s busy.
I started to seek attention from my male colleagues and yearned for it because they gave me a lot of attention
I’ve been feeling increasingly lonely and desperate for attention and so I started to turn to my male colleagues at work.
They were all older than me and they treated me like a sugar baby and I contemplated ‘doing it’ with them but I could not bring myself to cheat on my boyfriend.
They would take me out to fancy dinners, buy me expensive gifts and shower me with compliments.
It was like a breath of fresh air for me, and I felt appreciated and wanted for once.
I ended up getting caught up in the attention and I became too dependent on it. I started to focus all my energy on pleasing my male colleagues, and I stopped focusing on my relationship with my boyfriend.
One day, my boyfriend found out about the attention I was getting from my male colleagues and he was furious.
He accused me of cheating and he said that he didn’t want to be with me anymore. We ended up going our separate ways after an hour long talk about all the issues and feelings we faced.
