Is it normal for a guy to look up an attractive influencer on IG immediately after watching a video with the said influencer inside, with his girlfriend?
So I was out dining with my boyfriend on our anniversary and we were watching this video on youtube on my phone. After it ended I was talking to him but he seemed so engrossed with his phone. Found out that he went to ig to look up the girl from the video through the mirror behind him. I thought it was really rude of him to do that. I have never tried to restrict him from looking up influencers on social media even though i personally do not like it (due to past trauma with my ex) but doing it when i was physically with him seems wrong to me. What do y’all think?

You should ask those girls who watch Kdrama whether they google the handsome actor after watching their show, and you will get your answer whether it’s common.
I think the issue here is not that he’s searching the influencer (he certainly may do that on his own anyways) – but that he was being rude ignoring the OP in the middle of dinner on their date. Personally phone usage on dates should be kept to a minimum. When you have real time with someone why let the digital stuff preoccupy you when you can still see that later
