Authorities have apprehended a 29-year-old individual in connection with a motor vehicle theft incident.
On the evening of October 14, 2024, at approximately 9:50 PM, law enforcement received a notification regarding a vehicle that had allegedly been stolen from its parking spot along Pasir Ris Link.
Following a thorough investigation and utilizing surveillance footage, officers from the Bedok Police Division were able to identify the suspect. Remarkably, they managed to arrest him within five hours of the initial report. Additionally, the stolen vehicle was successfully recovered during this operation.
The suspect is set to face charges in court on October 16, 2024, for the crime of motor vehicle theft, as outlined in Section 379A of the Penal Code of 1871.
