A group of 10 people consisting of 5 men and 5 women between the ages of 18 to 25 are being investigated by the police for allegedly not complying with safe distancing measures.
The group had allegedly gathered in a hotel room for birthday celebrations.
A 25-year-old man was also arrested for allegedly causing hurt after the party.
The police revealed that they received a call for help on 30 October 2021 at a Newton Road hotel room.
Investigations revealed that there were 10 people gathering for a birthday party, and investigations against the 10 of them are ongoing.
The Singapore Tourism Board is also investigating the hotel for allegedly breaching safe management measures.
The 25-year-old man that was arrested had allegedly been aggressive against 2 others, resulting in them suffering injuries.
He was arrested for causing hurt by an act endangering life or personal safety and is being investigated for voluntarily causing hurt.
