The scene unfolded as the group of festival-goers sat casually on the train tracks, seemingly unfazed by the inherent dangers they were exposing themselves to.

Tragedy struck when one of the attendees made direct contact with the electrified third rail, resulting in a surge of electricity coursing through his body.

The horrifying incident was captured in footage that later circulated on social media, depicting the young man’s immediate physical distress and involuntary movements as the shock overwhelmed him.

In a desperate bid to aid their stricken friend, a female companion reached out to him. Tragically, her attempt to assist only led to her experiencing the same shocking jolt of electricity that had afflicted him. Their bodies rigid and contorted from the electrocution, they found themselves incapacitated and in grave danger.

Swift Action and Unforeseen Consequences

Miraculously, a few members of the group were able to remove the two victims from the hazardous tracks. The Oak Park Fire Department swiftly responded to the scene, and paramedics worked tirelessly to stabilize the young man, who had suffered cardiac arrest due to the electrocution.
