A netizen had recently wrote a post and uploaded it onto social media to voice his displeasure at a store assistant who allegedly ‘shouted’ at them while they were having dinner at Teppanyaki in Tampines Mall.
In his post, he said that the store assistant shouted at them from across the shop because they had ordered four sharing combos and was sharing it amongst seven people (they were seated four and three).
He then claims that if the shop did not allow sharing, the store assistant should have told them so before the seven of them entered the food establishment.
He then goes on rambling about the attitude of the lady and felt that he and his six other compatriots should not be treated so uncouthly and he even claimed the moral high ground and said that the restaurant should do something about the store assistant as not everyone can ‘control’ their anger, seemingly showing off that he could control his.
He also said that one day someone would lash at her for her behaviour.
Here is the man’s post
‘Was suppose to have a wonderful dinner at Teppanyaki at Tampines Mall, but it was all ruined by this lady named “Ah Juan” (Photo Attached) by shouting at us across the shop….we were utterly stunned as we were diners looking forward for the enjoyable meal…but was given such terrible attitude just because we ordered 4 combo set meals to be shared by 7 people..
if sharing wasn’t allowed in the very first place, she could have told us earlier at the counter when we were paying for the meal before being ushered to the designated seats. Such uncouth behaviour shouldn’t be condoned as it will most frfinitely tarnish their restaurant’s reputation.
I sincerely hope the management can do something about this and get it all sorted out as NOT all diners can control their angers, if she carry on with such attitude… i believe someone will lash her back and who knows what will happen.’

Netizens beg to differ
However in the comments section, netizens disagreed with the guy who posted the complaint as they claimed that he was clearly flouting the safe management rules in place.
Most comments jumped to the defence of the store assistant in question.
Here are some of the comments:

Current safe management measures on dining in
Current safe management measures on dining in in food establishments in Singapore states that only five vaccinated patrons are allowed to dine in together and tables should not inter-mingle with one another.
