Do you fear getting old, sick and dying?

I am 28 this year. My mental health has been degenerating every year as I get older. Is it true as you get older, you fear death more?
Watching my parents aging and struggling with chronic diseases make me feels terrified and apprehensive.
I have been trying to live a healthy lifestyle, dont smoke and no drinking, I still fear I maybe walking their path in 10-20 years time.
It feels like this meat machine of mine is failing at an accelerating speed day by day, year by year. Suddenly the tick, tick, tick of time became tangible.

- No. It’s inevitable anyways, we’ll all eventually grow old and slowly rot away before kicking the bucket, some sooner than others.
That’s just how life is, no use fearing it.
- One have to come to term with death. Only then you can appreciate the present and live life to the fullest.
- I’m 66 this year and luckily still quite healthy. I know that I could go in the next 10 or 20 years or sooner. Do I fear it? No. I have had an eventful life but I have always tried to be good to people. When I go it will be with an easy conscience. Live life to the full but be fair to all.
