I had been having a long day at work and all I wanted to do was head to the pub for a few drinks with my friends and relax.
I had been looking forward to this moment for days and I was in good spirits as I drove over to the pub. I parked my car, walked in, and was immediately greeted by a feeling of camaraderie and good vibes.
I spotted my friends at a table in the corner and I began to make my way over.
But as I was walking, I noticed something that made me stop in my tracks.
Across the room, I saw my wife. I was in shock. We had been going through some difficult times lately and she had made it clear that she didn’t appreciate my drinking.
So what was she doing at the pub?
As I watched her, I realized that she was having a great time.
She was surrounded by a group of people, laughing, talking, and having a good time.
I noticed that she had a drink in her hand, which made me even more confused. Why had she come to the pub if she wasn’t going to enjoy herself?
I was about to go and confront her when I realized that this wasn’t the best idea. We had been arguing a lot lately, and I didn’t want to add fuel to the fire.
So instead, I decided to just observe her from afar and make sure she was having a good time.

It made me both happy and sad at the same time. I was happy to see her enjoying herself, but I was also sad that I wasn’t the one she was having fun with.

I eventually made my way over to my friends and we talked, drank, and had a good time.
But I couldn’t help thinking about my wife. I thought about how she had come to the pub despite her reservations, and how she was having fun without me.
I eventually made my way home, feeling both confused and content. I was confused about why my wife had come to the pub and why she was having such a good time without me.
