A guy shared a story of how he went out for dinner with his colleague to celebrate the end of a big project which they were both in charge of for a few months but got her pregnant in the end.
He was together with his girlfriend of five years when this happened and wanted to confess to her and then leave her because he did not want the child to grow up without a Dad as he did not have the love of his Dad when growing up.
When he was about to confess after one month of finding out of his colleague’s pregnancy, the colleague suffered a miscarriage and they decided to keep it under the carpet.
Here is the story
“Was in a 5yr relationship with my girlfriend at the time when something happened.
My colleague and I were in charge of a project for a few months where we really slogged our guts off and it finally ended.
We made plans to get some dinner and drinks to celebrate the end of the project as it went really well.
It ended in both of us getting drunk, renting a hotel room and having some fun.
About a month later, my colleague sent me an image on Whatsapp.
It was a picture of a sonogram and she claimed that the baby is mine as she had never had relations with anyone else other than me since starting on the project.
I was going to come clean to my gf, because I never had a father growing up and I didn’t want to put my child through that.
However, my colleague ended up suffering a miscarriage a month or so into the pregnancy and I decided to sweep the whole matter under the carpet.
Before you judge me, do know that the whole incident left me feeling very guilty and anxiety stricken.
10/10 would not do again.”
