GUY SHARED PICTURES TO ICLOUD, WHOLE FAMILY SEES HIS PRIVATE PHOTOS

A guy shared a story of how he had changed his phone from an older model of an iPhone to a new model after decades and did a major screw up.

He had wanted to back up his pictures but instead of putting the two phones together to transfer the data over, he accidentally backed it up on iCloud, enabling his whole family to see all his pictures including some of the ‘private’ photos which he had.

Here is the story

“My family all share the same Apple ID so stuff like paid apps we can all use. This also means pictures are shared.

But my setting have always been “do not share photos to cloud.” So they are only on my device and not shared with the rest of the family.

I have my reasons for doing so as a lot of photos in my device are ‘private’ photos which are not meant for the public eye, only for my own viewing and for girls which I am trying to flirt with.

I decided to change my iPhone to a newer one as I have been using an iPhone 8 for the longest time and the moment I got my hands on this new phone, I literally transferred all the data on one to the other “app data and settings.” Well guess what? It re-enabled cloud sharing for my photos.

So guess who’s parents, and probably siblings too got to see their son/brother showing off their ‘private’ photos in several different angles.

With the best lighting of course because that’s why I have them saved in the first place.

I’m actually very very pissed right now because I thought that all settings that I have on my old phone could have been port over just like this but I guess this is just life getting back at me.”
