A video emerged online showing a guy visiting a Uniqlo outlet for a very special purpose – to print Kurt Tay’s face on a t-shirt (oh and to get Christmas presents as well).
He was seen going up the escalator towards the shop, before heading to the printing station to finalise his designs.
We then see the printing process of the t-shirt, as it emerges fresh from the printing machine.
The t-shirt was then packed into plastic packaging and all ready for collection.
The guy then posed with his new loots, with Kurt Tay’s face right there staring at the viewer.
You can watch the full video at the end of this post.
Singapore’s biggest superstar
Kurt Tay made his name on social media after his numerous antics over the years (think along the echelons of Steven Lim).
He participated in the inaugural Singapore Idol competition back in 2004, where he sang his rendition of Marty Robbins’ Long Long Ago, mispronouncing a bunch of words and turning the song into Nong Nong Ago.
He then released a single in 2012, which was uploaded onto Steven Lim’s YouTube channel and even became available to sing at all Party World KTV outlets.
But netizens were not impressed by the song.
Kurt Tay then hit the headlines when he got chest implants because he wanted to “boost his confidence” in 2013.
However, he didn’t go for a gender change operation because he was still attracted to women.
He later married his Vietnamese wife, Kim Ngan.
He became famous (or infamous depending on your outlook) for his numerous selfies on public transport wearing a WWE title belt.
He also dubs himself Singapore’s superstar celebrity and calls himself “Kurtista, Kurtberg, Kurtkishi”.
