“My bf of 4 years does not have any savings and has a negative balance in his bank account, and he insisted that we should not waste time dating and go into marriage.
He felt that with no savings, marriage is still possible as long as one loves each other.
Although I have some savings for rainy days for my parents I felt like it shouldn’t be a one-sided kind of contribution.
I felt the burden if we go into marriage and we will end quarreling every day.
