My gf talks to her ex boyfriend every day without fail.
Whilst I trust her and trust nothing would happen I don’t feel comfortable her talking to him every day. They was only together a year but it was a well formed relationship, they met each others parents had “family days out” etc etc.
My past relationships have been very toxic and I don’t want to seem unfair or unreasonable by telling her I don’t feel comfortable with it.
I can’t see her being comfortable if it was the other way around. In fact I would feel so wrong and disrespectful if I was talking to my ex every day.

Edit: What’s odd about it isn’t the fact that she talks to her ex, but the fact that it’s all day, everyday. Once in a while or regular communication is normal as some people can be friends with their ex’s without any remaining romantic feelings. But when it’s all day, everyday… - most of my relationships ended on semi-good terms, every now again we wish each other a happy birthday, or comment if we see something cool on another’s story. but talking every day without fail is weird.
your situation is not normal. - You’re the extra in their love story, man. In their mind it’s about how they got back together even after years of separation. They already had one villain, don’t stay to become another. If she prioritised her current relationship, she wouldn’t have constantly been in touch with a guy she was emotionally and physically dependant on.
This relationship is not her priority. I usually refrain from commenting “just leave/breakup’ but trust me, my man, this is not about insecurity or trust, she’s just not that into you.
