Hi guys so i have a situation. I am currently with my girlfriend for 4 months officially and things are going pretty well.
We definitely have our ups and downs but generally i feel we’re both very happy and comfortable with each other. this is my first relationship but for her, she has more experiences in terms of dating.
She shared previously that she got into a pretty toxic relationship with a fwb, which ended in him ghosting her and in the end she was extremely hurt.
From what I’ve heard this guy was really a jerk and did not cherish/treat her right. They dated for a few months then became fwbs only.
But during the course of being fwbs she caught feelings for him again but he did not which led to the toxic part of the entire thing.
I think while we were still dating (not exclusive or anything just starting out) she was still sleeping with him. She stated that their relationship was solely physical and she did not have any feelings for him at that point.
When i found out of course i was a little bothered by it? I think to me it hurt to think that she was sleeping with some other guy while dating me.
Furthermore this guy was really an absolute jerk to her. She told me she really doesn’t care for him anymore but she wouldn’t mind being friends/acquaintances with him.
To me thats absurd because how could anyone even be acquaintances with somebody who hurt them so much? She says its not in her nature to fully block off someone, because even though the relationship ended poorly, they still had good times together.
Fast forward to the present, i just found out coincidentally that theyre still talking over ig. I think its mostly him replying to her ig stories.
When i saw it i was rly feeling very bothered. I dont know if its jealousy or hate or anger, but i know whenever she even mentions his name my mood shifts immediately. Am I being too sensitive here? What do yall think?
