Sabah is looking to promote “dark tourism” to boost the tourism industry.
They are looking to allow visitors access to historical places that are said to be haunted.
Jafry Ariffin, Sabah’s Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister, said after visiting the Agnes Keith House:
“Right now, throughout the world, there is this kind of dark tourism especially for visitors and there are many who are enthusiastic about it.”
“But it requires some level of courage, so those with a weak heart, better not.”
Agnes Keith House
The Agnes Keith house was named after an author who lived there with her Husband Harry Keith, and described the apparition sighting at the house.
The house is said to be haunted with many mysterious happenings being experienced by locals.
