Wild boar sightings in Singapore has become quite common these days, with sightings reported quite frequently and even in housing estates.

A netizen who had spotted a wild boar recently at a field in Dairy Farm has uploaded a few shots which he had took of the wild boar from a distance.
A closer look at the pictures taken shows the magnificent yet humongous sized creature standing on a big field of grass looking at the direction of the netizen in one photo.
The wild boar looks like it was alone, as no other wild boars were seen in the picture.

According to the advisory given by NParks, here are some of the things that we should follow when we come into an encounter with creatures like the wild boar:

- Be calm and move away slowly with precaution
Do not go near the animal or attempt to feed them. - Maintain a safe distance and do not corner or provoke the animal
Eg. By flash photography when trying to take pictures of it. - Do not disturb or go near to adult wild boars with its young around.
They might be more aggressive and protective as their young are around them.
