Hi all, just want to share my unpleasant experience regarding my renovation journey with an interior company located at Woodlands Industrial Park.
I hope everyone out there can select your interior design company wisely and don’t make the same mistake as me.
I was looking forward to moving into my new place within the promised time frame, however the multiple delays and hiccups along the way had caused great inconvenience to me and my family. This has left a very bitter taste in my mouth.
The ‘interior designer’ that was assigned to me at first was fine but my project was handed over to the so-called manager. He was not only unprofessional, he was also very irresponsible. He was unresponsive to messages and was also very reluctant in rectifying the issues that were obviously caused by their end. He was very nonchalant about our problems, despite our constant hounding.
Even the boss telephone number cannot be reached most of the time.
Our meetings were always delayed/postponed even after arranging. Works were constantly being delayed after promising.
Many additional hidden cost were added on after starting the renovations. Some they claim that they forgot to add in, for example the laminate of my wardrobe which they said was not included in the price. I am forced to pay extra if not they will remove the wardrobe.
It has been 3 months and I’m currently renting a flat while waiting for the renovation works to be done but my lease is going to be up soon. They have no sense of urgency. Since I’m in a rush, i have no choice but to accept their horrible work. I’m still waiting in vain for the day they will finish rectifying all the bad ends.
