After he did his swab test he was told to wait in SGH for his results, he ran off at about 5.35 PM and headed to Changi Airport. His swab test results later came back positive.
At Changi Airport, he tried to buy a ticket back to India but failed to do so. The Police found him loitering at Terminal 1 and send him back to SGH
On June 16, he tried to go to the airport again as he feared that many in the dormitory are infected with Covid-19 and took a taxi at 5.50 AM to the airport but was rejected again.
He then slept at the airport and went to a relative’s home in Tampines, he then told the relatives that he left the dorm without permission. The relative did the right thing by informing the authorities and he was escorted back to the dormitory again.
