An Indonesian man disguised himself as his wife by wearing her burqa and using her identification so that he could travel from Jakarta to North Maluku via a plane.

He had used her negative Covid-19 test result at the Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport as well, under the name “Nurul”.
He wore his wife’s burqa and managed to get past airport security.
He was caught in mid-air when he changed from his burqa to a shirt inside the toilet and was spotted by a flight attendant.
He was then detained at the airport by security and tested positive for Covid-19, and sent to an isolation centre.
