The incident happened on 20 September at about 8.27am and took place at the junction of Compassvale Crescent and Compassvale Street, and was captured on the dashcam of another car nearby.

The video showed a cyclist and three pedestrians jaywalking across the road, with a grey/silver car narrowly missing the elderly man who had dashed out onto the road first.

However, the elderly man tempted fate and got scorched, as he was then hit by another blue car moments later on the opposite side of the road.

The blue car then stopped at the other side of the road to avoid obstructing traffic after the accident, as the elderly man picked himself up and limped off across the road, visibly injured.
