The Singapore Police Force (SPF) and the Central Narcotic Bureau (CNB) conducted a joint operation on 30 January at Block 603A Tampines Avenue 9.
Three people, comprising of a woman and two men, were arrested in the joint operations, which was conducted at about 5.40pm in the evening, according to STOMP.
An eyewitness, Roger, who was at the scene at about 10.20pm, took a video of the raid, which saw a crowd watching on.
Somebody could be seen closing a window before the video cuts off, and the netizen told STOMP that he heard “loud noises”.
He said that someone had confined himself to the room and threatened to jump down from the HDB building, but was ultimately arrested by the police.
He added that a safety life air pack was deployed by the Singapore Civil Defence Force on the ground floor.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force confirmed that they received a call for help at about 9.35pm, and that the safety life air pack was delayed as a precaution.
No injuries were reported from the incident.
The Singapore Police Force added that two men, aged 28 and 43 were arrested along with a 28-year-old woman, who was arrested for alleged drug-related offences.
The 28-year-old man was also arrested for voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous means and a karambit knife and two handcuffs were seized by the police.
At the time of writing, police investigations are ongoing.
