Karen’s Diner, an eatery that is famous for providing deliberate terrible and rude service, is set to have a pop-up in Singapore.
The diner, which has permanent outlets across the United Kingdom and Australia, serves commendable burgers with rude service by their wait staff.
They serve food such as burgers, hotdogs, milkshakes, desserts and alcohol.
Customers under a certain age are not allowed to enter the eatery due to the unsavoury and sometimes vulgar service by the staff (which is part of the gimmick).
Children under 14 years old will not be allowed entry for lunchtime, while those under 16 will not be allowed entry for dinner.
Karen’s Diner warned via a disclaimer on their website that “language may be offensive and inappropriate”, and they advise those under 18 to visit before 5pm.
At the time of writing, there has been no confirmation on when the pop-up of the diner will launch, but a waiting list has since opened on Explore Hidden.
The website states that the diner will be open in the “winter”.
