A video emerged online showing a lorry failing to give way at a discretionary right turn junction and almost causing an accident.
The incident happened on 21 January at around 1.58pm, somewhere along Toa Payoh.
The camcar was seen going straight towards a road junction, and a lorry was seen at the road junction appearing to be giving way to the camcar.
However, it turns out that the lorry was actually going to drive ahead instead of giving way to the cam car at the discretionary right turn junction.
The driver of the camcar who captured the incident of their dashcam, said:
“Driver of GBH9550D Toyota Dyna did not check when turning right and didn’t even bother to slow down or brake when I’m horning him as if he has the right of way and almost caused a head-on collision with me.
Luckily I was alert and manage to brake on time.”
