
According to a media release, South Korean Lotte Duty-Free is set to take over Duty-Free Singapore in selling duty-free liquor and tobacco at Singapore Changi Airport. Lotte Duty- Free was given the contract following Duty-Free Singapore announcement of not renewing its concession.
Lotte Duty-Free will take over all 18 tobacco and liquor stores located across all the 4 terminals with more than 8,000 sq m of retail space. According to Changi Airport Group, Lotte Duty-Free offers more than 3,000 different types of duty-free products.
Renovation of the stores will begin slowly once circuit breaker measures are lifted. In the initial stage, only 5 out of 18 stores will be renovated which is located in terminal 1 and terminal 3.
