A man in Singapore shared how he witnessed a father and son duo hanging around at one of his company trucks on Monday evening, as he was about to return home from his office.
He shared that it wasn’t the first time that he had seen them, and he then spoke a little bit with the boy’s father and found out that the child was autistic and loves trucks.
He learned that the loving father never fails to patiently persuade the boy to either go to school in the morning or return home in the evening, as the child marvels at the large vehicles.
As a result, the father sometimes end up going to work late.
The man then tried to help the father convince his son to go home by getting the spare key for the truck and let the boy sit inside it, promising to take the boy for a ride in the new Scania S500 Highline truck.
They even took some photos together with the truck.
Here is the heartwarming story:
“Met this pair of father and son hanging around at one of our company truck this evening when I was about to go home from office as my car was parked beside it.
It wasn’t the first time that I had met them but I didn’t manage to speak to them during the that time on one of the early morning few weeks ago as I was running late for my first job and rushing off while waiting for my Scania S500 Highline to warm up.
Did abit of talking with the father and found out that his son is special who is born with authisum and is a great fan for trucks and tractors and that’s the reason why they are always hanging around our company trucks and even other trucks while his father patiently persuade him to either go to school in the morning or go home in the evening.
Sometimes may even took him half hour to an hour on this process daily which sometimes even gotta himself late for work.
Just now, I had tried to help convince and persuade him by purposely going to my car and get the spare key and let him sit inside it and even make promise to him that will find a chance to bring him for a ride on the new Scania S500 Highline since he like it alot and his dad even told me that they even took some photos with him at the truck.
I am a father of 5 kids myself but by hearing and understanding at this Special kid’s father on his situation and patience towards his son really earn my fullest respect towards him.”
