A Malaysian netizen advises drivers to always lock the car even if there is someone in the car.
The incident happened on the 17 November 2019, the driver was with her family and were driving along Muar Bypass(near the second bridge). They went to Petronas a petrol station at the location.
At around 9 pm, her husband went to use the petrol station’s toilet, while she waits in the car with her son. A man suddenly approaches the vehicle, the woman who was worried about what the man might do immediately locks the vehicle.
The man in the photo tried to open the car door, even after realizing that its lock. The man tried to force open the door but failed to do so. She immediately calls her husband and tries to get the attention of passersby by waving at them.
Although there were not many people at the petrol station, a young male notices her and she opened a small gap at the car’s window and shouted for help.
“I don’t know this person! He wants to open my car door! Please call the Police!”
This did not deter the robber at all, even after the husband returns from the toilet the robber was still trying to open the door.
The husband then asked what he is trying to do?
The robber responded: “Trying to start the engine”
The robber later ran away after another customer steps out from his car.
The woman claims that the man waits and petrol station and find potential targets.
