The approval came after the King noted that the beds and intensive care slots for delegated for COVID-19 patients were nearly full.

Malaysia has recorded more than 2000 infected cases daily for the past week. It has caused the country’s medical system to be at the brink of collapses. With that said, only 100 beds are now available for COVID-19 patients at hospitals and quarantine centres.
