I’ll never forget the time I went to the casino with my friends. We were all having a great time, playing the slots and joking around.
That’s when I noticed a guy in the corner, acting like he knew how to gamble. He was talking a big game and seemed to know what he was doing. That’s when I decided to go over and see what he was up to.
As I got closer, I realized that he was playing blackjack. Now, I’ve always been a fan of card games and I’ve played blackjack a few times.
So I thought I’d join in and see if I could beat him. I pulled up a chair and started to watch.
That’s when I realized that this guy had no idea what he was doing. He was making basic mistakes, like splitting 10s when he should have stayed, and hitting on 16 when he should have stood.
He was also betting way too much, which was a surefire way to lose.
To make matters worse, he was getting frustrated and angry. Every time he lost, he would throw his cards down and storm off. Then he would come back a few minutes later and start again. I felt bad for him, but I couldn’t help but laugh.
After about an hour, I decided to try and teach him the basics of the game. I explained the rules and the different strategies.
I even showed him how to play and what to do to increase his chances of winning. He seemed to understand, but it wasn’t long before he was back to his old ways.
I wanted to help him out, but there wasn’t much I could do. He wasn’t going to listen to me, no matter how much I tried. So I just watched as he continued to make the same mistakes over and over again. Eventually, he gave up and left, with a very small winnings.
After he left, a friend of mine came over to me and told me that he actually knew this guy back in the office.
He was someone who always talked about going to the casino and how he can lose up to 20k a night and still can go and have a good supper, but in reality, he knows nuts about gambling.
He just tries very hard to fit in because he has no friends.
