A man who travelled from Malaysia into Singapore via the land VTL tested positive upon his arrival on 30 November, according to Shin Min Daily News.
According to a witness, there was a commotion at the waiting area when everyone was waiting for their Covid-19 test results after arriving in Singapore.
The bus reached Singapore at around 8.15pm in the evening after departing from the Larkin Sentral Bus Terminal in Johor Bahru.
Told to isolate himself
She said that one of the workers was panicking and yelling at the medical personnel, and a male traveller was instructed to segregate himself from the others.
The medical personnel then told her that the man had tested positive for the coronavirus.
The man was believed to have been travelling by himself and was not believed to have interacted and mingled with the other passengers.
