A video emerged online showing a man being run over (or “carried away”) by a woman driver who tried to flee the scene after colliding with the man’s vehicle.
The man was seen trying to take a photo of the car’s license plate, to which the driver then drove forward towards him.
Tried to flee the scene
The driver was apparently trying to flee the scene, so the man blocked the car by lying on top of the car’s hood.
By then a crowd had already gathered at the scene and whipped out their phones and started recording the incident.
The man lying on the hood could be seen pointing out the cameras to the driver, presumably telling her that there is evidence of her wrongdoing.
Undeterred, the woman then continued driving forward, ultimately driving away with the man still on top of her hood.
Beats red light while fleeing
She stopped momentarily and reversed but the man still wouldn’t budge, continuing to lie on top of the hood to stop the fleeing driver.
The woman then drove off with the man on her car’s hood, beating a red light along the way – much to the horror of the witnesses at the scene.
The incident purportedly happened in Yuen Long, Hong Kong.
