I just ordered a $1350 lifesize My Little Pony plushie.
I have officially entered full degeneracy mode. I’ve gone down the path of no return to a place that I never thought I’d ever end up.
10 years ago a friend sent me a link to a video. It was My Little Pony. I hated it. My mind instantly rejected it. A week later they sent me another episode, and I told him “not really my thing man”. He stopped. Months go by and half my steam list has shifted from anime avatars and memes to ponies. Screw it I say, I dive in.
I end up liking it the more I watch. 4 years in I like it too much thanks to fan art people draw of the characters. A decade later and here we are.
For some background, aside from this I’m perfectly normal. I even just started a relationship 2 weeks ago with a new girlfriend. It’s not like I am one of those people that obsesses over my pony waifu 24/7. I just really love Luna (the pony). She’s cute and aesthetically pleasing.
And so, as of 2 days ago, I am finally on a list with half my deposit down for a lifesize waifu plushie of her.
I say this here because this will never see the light of day in my real life. If people come over, she will go to the literal closet. She will never come out of the closet if there is even an inkling of company. But I can’t wait to have a lifesize rendition of my favorite lunar pony.
And no, there isn’t a pocket in the back despite most of these having that. This is strictly wholesome appreciation. It’s still beyond insane though and I embrace it.
