BF broke up with me. Now I have less than 30 days to find a job and a new place to live.
I’m in my 30s, but I never went to uni due to financial reasons. During the pandemic, my job/industry was making me really miserable. After a hospitalization, I decided that I was going back to school.
I had a good amount of savings, budgeted accordingly, and paid my rent/bills but lived very frugally. I’d pick up gigs here and there to make some extra cash on the side.
I have one more semester left, and last week, my boyfriend announced that he’s done with the relationship. He’s sick of dating someone who is broke all the time.
He also already found an apartment, signed the papers, and got the key. He’s going to start moving stuff out this weekend.
So not only am I’m reeling from the heartbreak, I don’t have a job either. I’m in a massive panic knowing that I now have to find a job and a new apartment.
My boyfriend was going to leave me to deal me to with the current apartment on my own, but I cannot pay for the full rent, so I begged him to pay his share for one more month’s rent to give me time to find other options.
I have till Decemenber until time runs out. Wish me luck everyone.
