A TikTok user, Bruce Mathieu, shared a video showing a man grilling some pork trotters on a drain, using the drain’s covers as a BBQ grill.
He was seen holding onto a blow torch and using it to cook the pork that he laid out onto the drain.
Bruce said that he was at Block 82, Macpherson Lane; adding “I don’t believe what I’m seeing,” he then recorded the man cooking the pork trotters on the drain grill
The man said that he was burning the hair off the pork trotters, as Bruce said that he doesn’t recommend doing this.
Environment Public Health Act
Under the Environmental Public Health Act, it is illegal to prepare food outside in a manner that is unhygienic.
NEA previously mentioned that they will not hesitate to take firm action against those who are found guilty of breaching the Environmental Public Health Act.
