A man who faces harassment by loansharks reached out to Singapore Uncensored on how he almost is getting tormented and risk losing his job.
Here is what the victim said:
May 2020, my sister wanted to borrow money for investment and accidentally borrowed from a unlicensed money lender and she had clear 2000 from it and I was her guarantor and I was told to take video as a proof. And then just 2 mths the ahlong contacted me saying that she didn’t pay and wanted me to pay. To prevent for more issues of him posting my video and I paid him $2400 for nothing. And last mth he come to harass me again by posting my videos on my friend comments I also also made police report.

Harassment did not end
Even after making 4 separate payments to the loan shark, the loanshark continues to create more Facebook profiles online and post all of his personal information including Full Name, NRIC, Address and many more.
The fake profiles go about Facebook and make a video of the man and uploaded to comments around facebook.
The loanshark even said they harass the borrower’s family for a living.
