Man Horrified After Discovering Woman’s Body in Back Seat of His Car in Thailand

A 63-year-old pork seller in Thailand was left shaken after making a grim discovery inside his own vehicle late at night. What began as a routine trip to prepare his market stall turned into a nightmare when he found the body of an unknown woman lying motionless in the back seat of his car.

The incident took place in Samut Prakan province near Bangkok on Wednesday night. The man, identified as Chanasin, had driven from his apartment towards a local market where he operates a pork stall.

According to reports, his vehicle is more than a decade old and the door locks had long been faulty. As a result, he rarely locked the car when it was parked.

Routine Stop Turns Into Shocking Discovery

At around 10.50pm, Chanasin parked his car near a Chinese temple, a stop he regularly makes before beginning work.

As he reached towards the back seat to retrieve a waist pouch, he suddenly felt what seemed like a foot pressing against the back of his seat.

Startled by the sensation, he turned around and thought he saw someone in the rear of the vehicle. Alarmed, he immediately stepped out and opened the rear door to investigate.

To his horror, he discovered a woman lying on her side across the back seat.

The woman appeared pale and unresponsive. Her body had already become stiff, indicating she had likely been dead for some time.

Chanasin quickly contacted the authorities.

Police Investigating How Woman Entered Vehicle

When speaking to investigators, the shaken stallholder reportedly trembled throughout his statement. He insisted that he had not noticed anyone in the back seat when he first entered the vehicle and claimed he had never met the deceased woman before.

Forensic officers, police investigators and medical personnel later examined the body at the scene.

Preliminary findings suggested the woman had been dead for approximately six to seven hours before her body was discovered.

Investigators found no obvious signs of violence on the body and no evidence of a struggle inside the vehicle.

Authorities are now reviewing surveillance footage from both Chanasin’s apartment complex and the location where the body was found. The aim is to establish when and how the woman entered the car.

Missing Woman Identified By Son

Further investigations revealed that the deceased woman had been living in the nearby Bang Nam Phueng area before her death.

Her son later arrived at the scene and formally identified her body.

Police learned that the son had already filed a missing person report a day earlier after being unable to locate his mother.

At present, investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding her death and whether any third party was involved.

The case remains under investigation.

Separate Case: Woman’s Body Found Hidden In Suitcase

In a separate development in Malaysia, police are continuing investigations into a gruesome case involving a woman’s body discovered inside a suitcase at a flat in Kajang.

Despite interviewing multiple individuals connected to the case, authorities have yet to confirm the victim’s identity.

Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said investigators are still carrying out several aspects of the probe and are unable to release further details at this stage.

The shocking discovery was made after residents reported a foul smell coming from a flat unit. Officers who entered the premises found a suitcase containing the remains of a woman.

Residents told investigators that foreign workers employed at nearby factories had been renting the unit, leading to speculation that the victim may also have been a foreign national.

Malaysian police are currently treating the case as murder and have launched investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

Both cases have generated significant public attention due to the unusual circumstances surrounding the discoveries.

While Thai authorities are focusing on how a deceased woman ended up inside an unsuspecting motorist’s car, Malaysian investigators are still working to establish the identity of a woman whose body was concealed inside luggage.

Police in both countries have urged the public to avoid speculation while investigations continue.
