MAN NOT HAPPY WITH BUS-STOP BECAUSE GOT PILLAR IN FRONT, CANNOT SEE IF BUS COMING

Facebook user Jack Lisa shared his frustration with the design of a bus stop located outside Punggol MRT station.

He laments the erection of a pillar in front of him that is blocking his view and he can’t see if his bus is coming or not.

Here is what he said

Whoever designed this bus stop is really dumb… I wonder how to see if the bus is coming.. the only way you can see the bus coming is you have to stand near the main road to see the bus coming then I see no point having the chairs there….

I think the pillars should be built behind the sign board side and not in front… this is at Punggol mrt outside

1. because the pillar is to support the huge shade above so you don’t get wet boarding the bus on a rainy day. sheesh. only know how to complain.
   what’s more, these days there are apps to tell you when the bus is arriving so you don’t get surprised. or if you don’t have the app, just stop staring at your phones and watch out once in a while, cannot is it?
2. Maybe should just remove the shelter and nobody will complain the design.
