MAN OPENED PHV APPS, FARES WERE $24+, BUT FLAGGED TAXI, FARE ONLY $6

A Facebook user, Murugi Gan, shared how he took his elderly mother for her booster jab at JTVC and when trying to get a ride home, he noticed the different charges for PHV apps and street hail.

He said that he logged onto the Grab, Tada and Gojek apps to check the fares, and they all had surge pricings from $24 to $27.

He then flagged a taxi instead and at the end of his trip, his final fare came up to $5.85, much more cheaper than booking PHV rides.
