On Tuesday (July 5), a man was sentenced to eight weeks in prison for filming his ex-girlfriend naked with a spy camera.
According to CNA, The 48-year-old man pleaded guilty to one charge of insulting the woman’s modesty.
How?
The couple had a relationship of 7 years and they used to share a room before they broke up in September 2019 he had moved out of the room after they broke up.
He knew the password to the victim’s room and he could still enter her room.
A month after the breakup, the man accessed her room and installed a hidden camera near her luggage.
The victim only found out about the camera one month later after she used her luggage, after discovering the camera she reviewed the footage and found several videos of her and some even caught her in the nude.
The man’s lawyer defended his actions and stated that he wanted to check if his girlfriend was unfaithful as he took a look at the CCTV footage that was outside the room.
He confronted her but the woman denied all allegations.
The purpose of him installing the camera was to confirm if he was cheated on.
He was eventually jailed 8 weeks for insulting the woman’s modesty.
