I’m sure many of us have had moments in our lives where we’ve looked back and wished that we’d done things differently.
For me, this was when I was in my early twenties and wasted all my money partying with my good friends.
Wasted a lot of money on his ‘bros’ and drinking
At the time, I thought it was a great idea. We would go out every weekend, staying up late and having fun. I thought that it was a great way to socialize and let off some steam.
I never really thought about how much money it was costing me. I was young and naive, and I thought that it was money well spent.
But now, looking back, I realize that I was wrong. All those nights out partying with my friends have cost me a small fortune. I’m sure that I could have put that money to better use if I had just taken a step back and thought it through.
But it’s not just the money I regret. Over the years, my friends have started to drift away. I don’t see them anymore, and I have no idea where they are.
Now, I’m left with nothing. I would do anything to go back and change my ways, but it’s too late. I can only look back and think about what could have been.
I guess it’s a lesson learned. I’m older now and wiser. I know that I should be more mindful of how I spend my money, and the people I choose to spend my time with. I will never make that mistake again.
I just hope that my friends are doing okay, wherever they are. I hope that they don’t look back and regret our time together like I do.
I know that it was fun while it lasted, but I can’t help but feel like I should have been more responsible.
I guess this is one of those things that you learn as you get older. You realize that money isn’t everything and that time with the people you care about is much more important.
I wish I had seen that sooner, but it’s too late now. All I can do is move forward and try to make better decisions in the future.
