The story:
65-year-old Shoo Ah San, a 65-year-old Malaysian assumed that his 42-year-old daughter Shoo Suet Lian sold off his home in Malaysia and stabbed her at a bus stop in the vicinity of Marsiling.
Documents revealed that Back in 2000, the father became bankrupt and was not allowed to put his name in a property in Malaysia and the father had to put the name of his daughter as part of the ownership.
The elder son was servicing the loan of the property and during this time the father was working away from home in Malacca.
Dispute started
2 years ago, the father returned to his Malaysian home and discovered that the house has been renovated. He assumed that his children had sold the house, he used paint to write on the walls of the house stating that he has the intention to kill his children.
Although his son stated that he wants to “talk it out” with his father Shoo did not meet up with him.
Shoo felt that the daughter Sue Lian was the one who started the “plan of selling” and he hatched a plan to take her life followed by taking his own.
The attempted murder
In 2020, Shoo became homeless.
He rode his motorcycle from Malaysia to Singapore to seek revenge on his daughter, believing that his homeless situation was caused by his daughter.
He waited at the daughter’s block in Marsiling and waited for her to appear.
When the daughter appear, Shoo rushed towards her and stabbed her several times all over her body with a 10cm knife.
After stabbing her, he escaped towards his motorbike and exit the carpark. Upon exiting the carpark he saw his daughter in blood on a grass patch and said “You have not died?”
He went towards her and stabbed her again in the chest.
It did not end here, the father now sought revenge on his son who was working in Singapore. However, the Police were already aware of the incident and Shoo was hunted by the Police.
He was arrested 5 days later near his son’s workplace. One can only imagine what would have happened if he was not arrested.
She survived
Although the daughter was stabbed several times she managed to survive.
