I know of 2 guy who divorce.
1st guy:
He gave the hdb to ex wife and kids as his kids need a place to stay.
He got no money to buy another hdb so he end up renting a room to stay. He is working as security officer. I hear liao jin sad for him.
I am not even sure if his kids will feel grateful to him as he never tell me about his kids. But i guess his kids will probably ignore him in future, because they stay with their mum and not with him so they will not be close to him. The kids probably will feel there is no need to treat him good too as he got no money and house to give them, whereas if they treat their mum good she at least got a hdb to pass to them.
2nd guy:
After divorce he have to give monthly maintenance fees to ex wife and for kids.
Ex wife remarry so he don’t need give her monthly maintenance fee anymore. But still need to give for kids till they reach 21 years old.
His kids now call another guy daddy. His ex wife always talk bad about him so the kids don’t like him.
He tell me he just treat it as karma debts to pay to his kids.
Such is the sad life of sinkee guys.

- If u r a good father and do your part for the family, the law is fair for both parents. Don’t attempt to throw your kids to the other parent and play the victim card here.

- Oh and btw, he can’t “gives” it to his ex wife, they’ve to sell it away or she will have to apply to HDB to take over his shares. Also the money he withdrew from his HDB will be given back to him so technically he did not gives that HDB house to his ex wife.
- It’s like this. Had they fought for their kids custody, their kids wouldn’t hate their dads. If they fought for custody but judge give the custody solely to their mum, it means you fail as a dad. Joint custody is a win/win situation. My friend only provide money for family, free time play handphone, sleep or go chiong, ask him teach kid study or playtime, he cane his kid everytime, still claim that he took care of kid. Bullsh!t! Guys if you only provide money for your family ONLY, you aren’t taking care of your family.
