The man who was shot by Police officers outside Clementi Police Division has been charged in court today with charges of criminal intimidation and voluntarily causing hurt.
He is known as Soo Cheow Wee, aged 49.
The charge was given to him in the Court Crime Registry Chambers today (18 Feb) and he was ordered to be remanded for psychiatric evaluation.

Soo has been accused of slashing a 41 year old man who is a stranger to him along Block 402A Clementi Avenue 1 on Thursday (17 Feb) at around 8:40pm.
He then took a taxi to Clementi Police Division and charged forward with the intention of attacking a 20 year old man with a knife.
Despite repeated attempts at getting him to drop the weapon, Soo refused and charged at an officer with the knife in his hand.
The officer then opened fire at Soo, hitting him on his left arm.
Soo will return to court next month.
Penalties
Soo can be given up to seven years, fined, caned, or any of the three combinations for his role in voluntarily causing hurt with a knife.
For his role in criminal intimidation, he could have been jailed up to two years and/or fined.
