A woman was arrested back in March 2021 after fighting in public and she was placed in a cell at Woodlands Division 2021.
27-year-old Gladys Li Wen Jing had a history of crimes and the following is the summary
September 2020
She took a chopper from her flat in Bukit Merah to confront her boyfriend at the carpark, a resident spotted her with the blade and contacted the Police. She later threw the blade away but she was still arrested
November 2020
She was asked to do a urine test and Meth was found in her system. She was previously admitted to a rehab centre in 2014 and it seems that after so many years the habit could not be kicked.
March 2021
After getting arrested for fighting, she was locked up in a cell. Li got angry when she was told to wake up and started calling the officer a “dog” she even refused to wear a mask.
An officer wanted to handcuff her but was hit in the face and the face shield and glasses of the female officer went fell off.
She struggled for 10 minutes as officers tried to put her under control and she scratched both of them and bite one of them.
Sentencing
She was sentenced to jail yesterday(Feb 17) to 3 years and 11 months.
