According to a media release, a man was sentenced in 2 months jail after he was found guilty of committing a rash act and a Public nuisance.
The incident happened on 3rd March 2020 at around 10.30 AM, Jasvinder Singh Mehar Singh arrived at the airport at Terminal 3 and was going to Crowne Plaza Changi Airport Hotel.
He was dining at the buffet line of the hotel without informing the staff.
A waitress who was working spotted him and told him that the restaurant was closing, he got angry and smashed the plate on the floor and spat on the ground as well.
The manager then tried to stop him and made him sit at the lobby of the hotel, he then placed both of his feet on the table and kicked off a sign from the table.
He spat again and this time shouting “Corona Corona”
The Police arrived sometime later after the incident was reported to the Police at around 10.45AM
