A 20-year-old man was charged with insulting a woman’s modesty after he was arrested for taking upskirt photos of his boss.
The man was charged in court today (Jul 24).
According to the court document, the man was hired by the victim to help her with her work. The man was caught red-handed on the 09 Oct 2019 while he tried to take an upskirt photo of his boss.
Around 4.50 PM that day, the man was at his workplace and had just stepped out of the toilet when he saw the victim standing at a workspace in front of him. He then took out his phone and went behind the victim and begun to take photos under the victim’s skirt.
The victim spotted the phone and turn around and shouted at the man while snatching the phone from the man.
The police were alerted and the man was arrested on the scene. In the process, the man’s phone and Ipad were sized. After investigation, a total of 1,015 obscene photos and 2 videos were discovered.
As the court requested probation and reformative training reports, the man will return to court on 30 Jul 2020.
For his crime, the man could face a jail term up to 12 months, fined or both.
