Making money using fake or false promises.
Is it ok to make money by false promises?
I worked for a company which works on Cultured sea food. The Boss will talk like any other boss and convince that we are an amazing company and we have to hide secrets as that is our IP. However, below this facade, the boss is running the company with pure snake oil, she claims we have lot of technology and goes outside and says that we are the next tech revolution. However, inside no one know what tech we have? as all the things that we showcase outside is fake, but on one talks about it inside the company.
Also, we heard that The boss hired her husband and his sister to some important posts. And it is said that they have taken out more than half a million SGD as fees and salary just last year.
Being a Singpaorean, I wanted to whistle blow to, which is Sg govt investment arm to investigate the claims as seeds capital is tax payer funded body and have invested in this company. However, given the Boss’s threat to sue people using NDA i got scared and just quit. Last month someone told same things about the company in a sg whispers post and I felt finally someone got balls to tell about this company. However, the person dint know to what extent this Boss is scheming in the company.
Do you all think it is worth for me to give the information that i have about the company to Singapore investigative body or should I just shut up and continue with my life?
I feel so bad knowing that this company wronged so many people and investors, but cannot do anything about it.
