I have found some on Shopee and was thinking about either redOne plan (sign for a month, amazing 18 plan which have 25gb+50gb) or a xoxone sim card, 20gb for $13.
Not very sure about the coverage and speed though. I have bought those “unlimited data” after 1GB/day kind for my previous trip preCovid and it’s as if I have no data plan. Like we decided to stop at the next pitstop and we Whatsapp them and onky when we reached the pitstop did the message got sent. Lucky thing is, we also received the same message from them. So we still managed to meet up at the pitstop.
Are there any other recommendations that is not too expensive? Thanks.

- Bought a celcom sim card last week when I was in Malaysia for 25RM – 7 days of unlimited data, speed and everything else was ok
- Redone has a plan which is 8 bucks a mth. Coverage is quite OK
- Your mobile service provider should have data travel plans. I find them affordable and convenient as no need for other sim cards.
