MAN WHO DASHED 5 RED LIGHTS IN TOWN SAID HE HAS C-4 EXPLOSIVES

A man who drove to a medical center in Paya Lebar said that he has explosives in his car and has since been charged and faces 11 more charges.

32-year-old Zayd Hashim Siraj committed the offences date by on 19 October 2020, he detached the barriers gates from Suntec City carpark and dashed 5 red lights from Cecil Street, Marina Boulevard, and Tanjong Katong.

Later that day he trespass into Singapore Aeromedical Centre and destroyed equipment worth around $3,800.

He then threatened two men claiming that he has a knife.

At the medical center, he said that he has intentions to destroy the place with the C-4 bombs in his car.

Details on the existence of the bomb were not revealed in court.

After Zayd was lockup he damaged his cell door which resulted in $6,000 damages.

Zayd will be back in court tomorrow (Jan 4).
